I am now working at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Prior to that, I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from City University of Hong Kong in 2023 and was a researcher at the same university from 2023 to 2025, supervised by Prof. Rynson W.H. Lau. I received my B.Eng. degree in Computer Science and Engineering (Elite Program) from South China University of Technology in 2019. I did some research at The University of Hong Kong and The Chinese University of Hong Kong during my undergraduate studies.
My research focuses on building robust and multimodal vision applications such as:
- Detecting inconspicuous objects (e.g., mirrors, glass, and camouflaged objects) from real-world data
- Open-vocabulary 3D perception
- 3D vision with imperfect or multimodal data
